Weather Map Help


Look around and click away. Here are some tips


Right-Click Conditions

Up to 10X zoom, right click on a city for an icon that gives overview of conditions; click "View Forecast" for detailed conditions and forecast. Click "save" for quick access at any login, or click off "Current Conditions" to remove icons.

Zooming the Map

Zoom in/out with your mouse wheel, or click the plus/minus buttons on the map. You can zoom in up to 10X and still get weather overlays (radar, clouds, temperature, fronts) or zoom in 20X to see your backyard!

Animated Weather Loop

Click the upper right "play" button to animate the weather loop for whatever weather layers you want, and for the time frame you want (3,6,12 or 24 hours), and for any location you want, and watch what precipitation, clouds, temperature or fronts are going to do.

Navigating with the mouse

Action Results
Right-click on Map Creates a marker on the map that shows the weather at that location.
Drag with the left mouse button Moves the map in the direction you drag the mouse
Drag with the center or wheel mouse button
-or-
Hold down ALT and drag with the left mouse button
Draws a box on the 2D map, and then zooms in on that box
Double-click Zooms in one level
Hold down ALT and double-click Zooms out one level
Rotate the mouse wheel button backward Zooms out on the map
Rotate the mouse wheel button forward Zooms in on the map

Action Results
+ (PLUS SIGN) Zooms in one level
- (MINUS SIGN) Zooms out one level
Arrow keys Scrolls the map in the direction of the arrow
r Switches to the road map view
a Switches to the aerial map view
h Switches to the hybrid map view

Carl Ludwig Boeckmann, with his fiery red beard and flowing tie, was born in Christiania Norway on 29 jANUARY 1867. In 1905, at the age of 38, he settled permanently in Hennepin County but continued his painting travels around the country. In keeping with his position as the custodian of the traditions of the old world, Boeckmann painted an amazing number of Norwegian seamen and scenes.
